It is reported that the Haryana Government has granted the approval to construct metro lines that will connect Gurgaon in the state of Faridabad. The new Faridabad metro line between Faridabad and Gurgaon metro line is an extension of the Violet Line of Delhi Metro that will connect directly to Gurgaon's Rapid Metro Line in Gurgaon. The purpose behind this initiative is to improve connection within National Capital Region (NCR) that will help reduce traffic congestion and reduce pollution.
Gurgaon-Faridabad Metro: Stations List
The metro plan is expected to traverse parts of the Delhi NIT assembly region and Piyali Chowk, with 12 stations covering approximately 34.12 kilometers. Metro stations within Faridabad will be situated in Bata Chowk, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, Piyali Chowk, Pali Chowk, Police Chowki Mangar as well as Barkhal Enclave. In Gurgaon the stations will be located at Sector-56, Gwal Pahari, Sushant Lok Sushant Lok Phase III Rosewood City along with Vatika Chowk.
Uninterrupted connectivity throughout NCR
